Welcome to One & Done, an arcade-style fencing game built for Pirate Jam 17, with the theme of "Only One". I first thought of fencing, with one touch winning the bout. I don't expect to win, but I entered as a challenge to myself to finally learn the basics of game design. This is my first ever fully-playable game, and no major bug-finding time has been put into it.

The game is entirely playable in Itch, but a downloadable .exe has been provided as well. As a sidenote, the browser version will crash if you press the quit button, due to Godot's Quit() function closing the game.

The art style is incredibly simple, being primarily made up of Godot's ColorRect nodes, although the sword's sprites were hand-made. Additionally, the sound effect was created with my own mouth, and has been pitch-shifted to better match the sound.

Credits for the font go to Rick Hoppman's Thaleah Fat font, which is free for commercial use. Also a thanks to FinnFert for helping me actually create this, and to Dragons_End1 for ensuring my game is visually accessible.

Thanks for checking out my project, enjoy your day!

Playing from the .exe should just be as simple as downloading the file. If anything goes wrong, leave a comment and I'll answer as best I can.

Simple but good, it's not normal to see two-player game for jams.
